Crispy Wonton Cones
Recently Audrey and Lilly were soux chefs for their friend Bob Blumer. His cookbook Surreal Gourmet Bites has many of the girls favorite recipes. The recipes are great for grownups but are fun kids food, with grown up style. They especially like his recipe for Chinese Snow Cones. The girls learned how to make these crispy cones that you can put virtually anything in. This tasty recipe has chinese chicken salad in it but the sky is the limit when making these for kids or adults. We have even made these cones and filled them with our favorite taco ingredients. They are fun for the kids to assemble, and their culinary grown up helper can bake them.
You can find detailed directions for these crispy wonton cones in Surreal Gourmet Bites, an inspiring cookbook for everyone. It helps us not take our food too seriously! It has fun incredibly tasty recipes presented in adventurious ways.
