Kara’s Cupcakes Rock!

Who needs an excuse for cupcakes, especially some of the best cupcakes we have ever eaten! Kara’s Cupcakes in Napa California rocks! There are so many beautiful kinds to choose from we just stood in front of the counter. It was as if the cupcakes were calling out to us “eat me, eat me!” Had we fallen down a rabbit hole and were going to run into Alice?

We eventually chose Meyer Lemony Lemon, a vanilla cupcake with lemon filling and lemon buttercream. For the other a Rasberry Dazzle, a chocolate cupcake with a sweet rasberry buttercream. When you bite into these cupcakes the combination of sweet and tangy are amazing! It must be because Kara puchases whenever possible local ingredients that are organic and sustainable. Local ingredients always make everything taste better, even cupcakes!

Kara Lind is a huge inspiration to us since she followed her dreams of being a pastry chef. She is being kind to the earth too, she opened her own green business. You can read all about her on her website. After watching Kara on Cupcake Wars on the Food Network it inspired us to get more creative with our cupcake making. We have even tried making some savory cupcakes that fooled you into thinking they would be sweet! Turns out mashed potatoes as the frosting is very tasty!

If your in a hurry and need a cupcake fix, Kara even offers curbside service. So don’t miss stopping into a Kara’s Cupcakes and bite into one of her amazing cupcakes. Don’t forget to grab one of those adorable Kara’s Cupcake hoodies!! Those hoodies are definitely on our wish list!
