Inspiring Us!

We have been lucky enough to take a couple of classes from Chef Charles. He inspires us so much because he shares our love of cooking and he also knew he wanted to be a chef from a young age. His food and recipes are so fresh and have flavors we have not tasted before. Like the toasted flavor of this Fall Butternut Squash Stew. It has a sweetness from the squash, toasted sesame seeds, cumin seeds and almonds give this stew a twist. The cauliflower gives it texture and kids don’t even know its in there. His recipe for this fall stew is a great grown up style recipe kids will love and a recipe grown ups have to try. We make it as a starter course for special family dinners or a main course on a cold winter night! Watch our video show below and imagine that you can smell the stew while its cooking!

  4. Interesting read, it’s really difficult to find things to keep my kids busy out here in the boondocks! They expressed some interest in the kitchen last week, my little boy too, so I’ve been trying out some of the kids recipes here. They seems to enjoy those!
